Hey there, I’m Grace—the heart, hands and head designer behind the blooms of Made with Grace

I’ve always been a creative soul, exploring many forms of artful expression, from dressmaking to renovation projects, alongside my then NHS career. Once I unexpectedly found florals, four years ago now, I took the plunge to officially swap scrubs for dungarees, and I’ve not looked back. To quote an iconic artist whose words deeply resonate -

“I found I could say things with colour and shapes that I couldn’t say any other way – things I had no words for.” – Georgia O’Keeffe

Today, I work from a garden studio we lovingly built in the Surrey countryside, designing to reflect my passion for nature, craftsmanship, and sustainability. For me, florals are a way of bringing life to a space or celebration, an art form that evokes delight and sentiment, transforms environments, and brings a special sense of warmth and depth.

I’m especially drawn to large-scale floral installations that bring visual intrigue and immersive beauty, and I’m passionate about celebrating British grown flowers. They offer variety, quality, and the most delicately beautiful elevation to designs whilst also honouring and reflecting the season and supporting our local community and environment.

When I’m not immersed in flowers, you’ll find me hiking through the countryside or by the sea, exploring vintage furniture markets, or working on our home renovation.
